Enter 1Fort - we automate the work required to get cyber insurance. Our solution enables businesses to connect their tools and apps to 1Fort, and from there we programmatically identify the gaps for insurability and guide them through the fixes. This enables the business to save time, get better coverage and reduce their premium.

A bit about who we are

We’re still in stealth mode. But we can tell you our team has past experience in insurance, cybersecurity and B2B SaaS growth, and we’ve raised capital from VCs, including Village Global, On Deck, Operator Partners, Company Ventures, Character VC and 8-Bit Capital. We also have a team of advisors that include the CISO of a Fortune 500 and former executive of a major cyber insurance carrier.

You’ll have outsized impact and ownership

As Senior Security Engineer, you'll play an instrumental role in ensuring the security of 1Fort. Main responsibilities include:

• Own the end-to-end development of major security features
• Ensure the reliability and security of software and processes
• Work closely with the product team to develop and prioritize major features
• Ingest security posture data for cyber risk quantification
• Mentor and motivate software developers
• Hire junior-level security engineers
• Contribute to major UI / UX decisions
• Make key infrastructure / architectural decisions

Though beyond all that, you'll help us shape 1Fort's culture and vision, hire new talent, grow our user base, and support customers. What's important to us is someone who is comfortable in being cross-functional, scrappy, entrepreneurial and working in a fast-moving environment.
